WHAT IS H.I.T.®
H.I.T.® stands for Hidden Installation Technology, Prowler Proof’s exclusive design methodology for creating security-screen systems that look cleaner, reduce access to fixing points and improve the performance of the complete installation.A security screen needs to become part of the opening, not look like something bolted onto it afterwards.
Prowler Proof’s H.I.T.® methodology hides or recesses installation fasteners within channels, cover strips and frame components. Removing exposed fixing points produces a cleaner finish while making the installation more difficult to tamper with from outside.
The system also incorporates practical details such as finger grips, end caps and mohair for easier everyday use, reduced rattling and better closure around sliding-door installations.
AESTHETICS
Hidden and recessed fasteners help the finished screen sit cleanly within the opening, without rows of visible screws or brackets interrupting the frame.
TAMPER RESISTANCE
Fixing points are concealed or positioned within recessed channels, making it considerably harder to access or grip fastener heads with tools.
PROVEN PERFORMANCE
The concealed-fix components have undergone security testing with ForceField and Protec systems, including testing to Security Level 200.
HIDDEN FASTENERS
Fixings are concealed within channels or behind cover strips for a cleaner, more secure finish.
ADDED STRENGTH
Selected concealed-fix receivers can be up to six times stronger than conventional joining methods.
